Wing N Fin Resort on Beautiful Lake Traverse welcomes you to Minnesota’s 12th Largest Lake. A MN/SD border waters, Traverse stretches 17 miles and offers world class hunting and fishing opportunities. Located on the Continental Divide, the Spring & Fall migrations of the Central and Missippi Flyways overlap in the Traverse area creating a paradise for birding and hunting.
You will enjoy the vast public hunting areas, along with fishing opportunities year round.
Fish species present include: walleye, northern, crappie, perch, bluegill, bass, bullhead and catfish. In addition to Traverse, Big Stone Lake and over 30 Northeast South Dakota Lakes are just minutes from Wing N Fin.
Wildlife and upland game abound, viewing opportunities are always present.
Hunting seasons include: White Tail Deer, Ducks, Geese, Pheasant, Morning Doves, Turkey and many other small game species. Predator hunting for coyote, fox and other varmints is very good and is encouraged.
The Lake Traverse area is rich with history, information on sites to see is available.
Wing N Fin has lodging facilities to handle small to large groups. Current lodging facilities are able to handle appx. 54 guests. Our new Traverse Lodge, Suites & Conference Center is an ideal setting for any group outing, from Corporate to Reunions.
Our New Boat Harbor/Launch was completed last March and is located directly in front of the TLC Facility. In addition to our TLC Facility, Wing N Fin also has private, fully-furnished lakeside cabins.
